Michael Arenella has been hosting events and performances in NYC since the year 2000, the most famous of which is the internationally celebrated Jazz Age Lawn Party.

In late 2020, we were just beginning to turn a corner after a difficult era for us all.

Michael and his musicians had been keeping live music going by hosting pop-up performances in public outdoor spaces, in all kinds of weather: snow, sleet, and the hottest of hot and humid days.

The desire for contact, interaction; a note sung from the heart, or pushed through a horn; these were among the most human things that were so dearly needed at this time, and it brought back an element of joy and human contact that was so dearly needed.

Today, we have all perhaps learned to cherish our together time a little bit more. And that is what our original Jazz Age Brunch series is still all about, and also what sets it apart: Celebrating an afternoon with our friends and loved ones, set to the exquisite soundtrack of the Michael Arenella and his music, a true New York institution, while enjoying the city's best brunch destinations!
